Beginning October 1, 2019, Stingray Pipeline Company will initiate pigging operations intended to verify the pipeline integrity of the existing 36” Mainline. This is required in order to maintain and verify system integrity, and interruptions of firm service due to such operation is provided for in Section 3.2(a) of the GT&C of the Stingray Tariff. As such, Stingray is requiring that all gas and liquid production sources delivering into Stingray be shut in until the pigging operation is complete. The anticipated duration of the service outage is approximately 10 weeks.
As new information becomes available Stingray will post an additional update. Stingray will also update this posting when the pigging operations are completed.
Nominations effective with the Timely cycle for Gas Day October 1, 2019 will be confirmed to 0 (zero) and will continue at that level for the duration of the pigging operations. Stingray will provide full reservation charge crediting during the period of this outage to all firm transportation customers.
